recovery rainbow
there is jealous green
and i remember
the days we spent
under the willow
weeping with the tree
there is marina blue
it makes me think
of the sky in your eyes
and the blue of the ocean
draining down my cheeks
there is violent red
and i flush
with the memory of your mouth
along mine like a razor
cutting me as i bleed
there is tepid orange
and I feel
that the mix of my crimson
and her sunny
isn't a lovely shade
there is blessed yellow
and the sol peeks through
her smile upon yours
and mine upon my mirror
reflecting upon sadness forgotten
