In a world of make believe

Yellow was the only color that I could see

I saw it in the stars, and moon at night

I saw it through trees

When the sun shone bright

When sunflowers dance

Yellow blooms into view

Blocking out

Every grey hue

The color yellow, is a color of peace

The color yellow, is the reason I can't sleep

It's beauty is soft, not dark nor bright

The color yellow

is the color of light
