Heart thumping violently,
Winged emotions take flight
They can’t escape...

A soul writhing in agony,
Silently begging to no longer be trapped.
Thousands of miles down
Under and emotionless mask.

The mind sends letters
Reminding each prisoner
Of every false hope, lie, and
Sending down every hidden ounce of fear.

Fear,
The only thing that completely controls everything.
The only thing capable of making,
Making and impenetrable cage.

A cage made out of the hardest steel,
Keeping everything in, trying to protect you
By imprisoning your heart, soul, and emotions
Your heart’s cage, your ribs, will eventually drown you.
