The Love Countdown

10 hours I sat and cried,
9 lives are running dry,
8 times I gave you a try,
7 years of wondering why,
6 months we’d stay up and fight,
5 weeks of sleepless nights,
4 moments we were alright,
3 months you sat and lied,
2 broken promises at a time,
1 last chance to get it right,
But 0 times, I questioned my might
so goodbye.
