Suddenly I was like,
a child caught in a riptide, helpless,
being pulled in two different directions,
unsure of what to do, what to scream, who to scream to.
Wave after wave continuously crashing upon my head
What’s it to you?
After all it is you who keeps dunking me
and eventually throwing me into the water,
the horror that is my every moment
What did you expect would happen?
Eventually I would get hurt.
Who are you to care?
You didn’t think about what it would do to me.
Did you?
