Just a boy

Take me as I am
or watch me as I go.
Life is too short
to always feel so low.
You watched as I cried
when I found out you lied.
I had hope you would change
because you said you would stop acting srange.
You said it would be okay
and that you would always stay.
But nothing stopped the tears
even after two years.
I was never number one
I was just apart of the fun.
I guess that's what I get
for believing in someone who wasn't grown yet.

This poem was inspired by my first heart break. I hope that when people read this they understand that they're not alone and boys will be boys, but you won't find a good one if you don't get over the last. Always smile.
