Her Self Mediction
She walks around clothed in long sleeves and her bracelets, they are her security blanket.
She sits in the locked bathroom of her home where her troubles are on the outside.
It was her safe haven; she was shielded from the reality of her own life.
On the outside was the monster that birthed her, the “MOMster” spent her nights in jail, with multiple men, and criticized her own children to the whole world on Facebook.
On the outside was her dad who bought her anything she wanted, but it wasn’t what she needed or wanted all she wanted was a relationship.
And stepmom who controlled everything she does.
On the outside where friends who didn’t come easily, and the God who she didn’t believe in.
The sneaking around trying not to be noticed as she slips alcohol into her juice before going somewhere and coming home to an empty house and trying to take her father’s pills to fall into a forever sleep.
She sits in the bathroom crying wishing she had a better life, as she put the silver sharp blade to her wrist.
Her troubles flow out and she thinks to herself tomorrow is going to be a better day.
But it’s not, the same routine occurs and she does the same thing at night, hides in bathroom slowly trying to kill herself.
