The grass was green because what other color could emit that crisp scent
The tooth fairy gave me 25 cents for a strong white tooth
I slept at 8 to build energy for the next day’s new adventures
I started multiplication tables and they were fine
I got through variables at the minor cost of going to the movies
My eyes drooped learning about the omnipotent, first, and third point of views
“The Nuremberg Laws were based on the Jim Crow Laws”, and I lost my appetite
My middle finger has an indent from the pencil I can't put down
My hand aches as I finish taking Biology notes
“Love is oxytocin, C43H66O12N12S2”
Not the affection I embrace my mother in
The sky is blue because it reflects the oceans’ waters
The grass is green because chloroplasts reflect the green light of sunlight’s spectrum
The tooth fairy abandoned me a long time ago
It’s 3 in the morning and I'm still working on my research paper-
“The Quest for the Fountain of Boo Radley’s Youth”
