Nothing prepared me for the beauty above,
The glistening snow, the calming breeze,
Washing away my worries with ease.
I left my world behind,
But there is nothing to compare to my state of mind,
In this calming and beautiful place,
My heart beats a steady pace,

As I run from the past,
I am breathing too fast,
I grow wings, my soul taking flight,
And for another day, I fight.
Every memory haunts me,
Of everyday I had to breathe,
So now, with my last dying breath,
