Deadly wishes
You look at me with your finger on the trigger, but you hesitate.
You see the pain in my eyes the innocence the guilt the sadness.
You stop and you look to the clouds. Tears run down your face, feeling the wind touch your cold tear filled face.
The wind feels like sandpaper to my skin.
Fear runs through my veins.
Heart beating faster and faster.
You look down back at me.
You look at me like I’m some piece of worn piece of furniture.
You pull the trigger.
The bullet pierces my heart.
I fall to my knees gasping for air.
My heart slowing down.
Losing more and more air.
Pain shooting through my body.
Tears running down my face,
body becoming chill to the bone.
I look up to the sky with blurred vision.
I look down to see the metal shrapnel in my chest.
Finally my heart stops and my body drops to the ground.
