Erase Me
I promise you can’t erase me
One kiss is all it takes
Wipe off the access
But it's still there
Engraved into your heart
A walk in the park
Our hands, sweaty
But we held on so tight
A dip at our first dance
A twinkle in my eyes as you pull me back up
I’ll leave you with the memories
I am in your heart
One day I will not physically be there
But you’ll think of me while you’re brushing your teeth
Or someone just so happens to mention my name
When someone asks you what happened
You’ll say things just didn’t fall into place
But once again
You can brush me off
But
I promise you can’t erase me

I wrote this piece after a bad heartbreak. I wanted to show how you can truly never "erase" a person or memories out of your life.
