Someone asked me to write a poem about
The school

I don't know, I said

What do you mean you don't know?
You go to school here too?

I don't know
I don't know

I can hardly write about the stars,
I’m so damn unconscious

They shine so bright,
Only for you

I don't know

This school's a mess, kid

Everyone here is an animal
I heard some guy talking to his girlfriend,
“Let me walk you to class, ****.”
Then they kissed
I don't know what to make of that

I don't know
I don't know

All of these girls are being forced to put on
More professional clothes
Because it distracts boys and teachers
Nobody seems to question why men are distracted
Bu 16 year olds in tight clothes

I don't know
I don't know

Every day the admins herd us into class
Like the sheep we are
Where i’m going, I don't know

I don't know.
