Lost Love
Tell me, where did things go wrong?
Tell me, where did it get so bad?
I remember when our love was my favorite of the things I had
Things were so good in the Fall
Now we're near Spring's end
I think our love is, too
We're falling apart harder, faster
Than the most deteriorated leaves do
You say you want to stay
But all you do is leave
You have broken me to pieces
And I'm still begging on my knees
My friends call it abuse,
What you do to me
But they don't understand my love for you
Which will be the death of me
I only try to make you happy
I try to make it work
But what you do is make me question,
"What the hell am I really worth?"
Suicide tastes better
Than your name upon my lips
I just wanted to be loved by you
I didn't think it'd be as tragic as this
Maybe in another life
I'd be what you wanted
But that's impossible
Our love remains as an empty house
Cold
Dark
And haunted.

Isn't it funny that the people who are supposed to love you the most, are the ones who end up hurting you the most?
