She was never good enough
They said jump,
so she jumped.
like a puppet on a string,
they push, she swings.
Little did she know that was her end.
For she was already dead,
already lying on her death bed.
They said you'll be like us,
feeling like she belonged,
wrong.
She was invisible,
she was gone.
Hoping one day she would make amends,
thinking she was at fault.
But all she needed was a friend.
A helping hand.
Wishing she didn't jump,
But she was already dead
lying still on her death bed.

I wrote about this piece because in High School everyone just wants to fit in, and I wanted to show how it could end.
