Wishing Well
If you go and look in a well,
you may see where dreams dwell.
You could see them climbing,
and desperately trying
to become something new.
But what happens if they do?
Do they become new,
or disappear like fear?
Maybe they get to cheer,
while the other dreams keep climbing.
Maybe they become a rose,
or the snowflake on your nose.
Are they encouragement to others,
to their sisters and brothers?
See for yourself.
Throw a coin in that old well,
and see for yourself where your dreams dwell.
Do they ever make it to the top?
Or do they fall and POP!
Only you will know.
