Equality
We are all different.
We cannot change that.
Everyone seems to know this.
They seem to know enough to point out every single way I am
“faulty”
“broken”.
People scream “equality” in the streets.
They say that they want equal rights for everyone.
And yet, in the privacy of their homes or schools, they torment people just like us--
Until we break.
They say “It will get better soon”
And maybe it will.
But maybe it won’t.
Sure, we have advanced past racial injustice
Or at least we think we have.
Or suffered through discrimination based on
Color
Religion
Gender
But we still have to get past the most obvious.
Humans.
