-Trap-
The mousetrap is small, yet it stands out.
Bright, as to attract attention.
A trap in plain sight.
It is made to capture mice.
A mouse simply lives its life.
Running back and forth.
Squeaking as it slips beneath walls.
Scavenging food to survive.
And then snap.
Unable to recognize the deadly trap before it.
It dashes towards what looks to be a gift.
Only to be trapped at best.
