Success Isn't Final

Success isn’t final, words that ring through time.
However, what does it mean to be truly successful?
Does it mean that you have a stable job to support your family?
Or is it finding true happiness the ultimate form of success?
Success means that you give meaning to your name.
Venture out and expand what your name means.
Travel so far that your name is rich in purpose.
One must keep finding new meanings because success isn’t final
It is not an entity that will live on through the ages.
Success means that every time the ball strikes the ground a trophy is lifted
Although in the moment there is a feeling of elation,
You will always be brought to the beginning in the pursuit for more accolades.
But we are never showered with the benefits of success,
Failure is the shadow of success.
It can be destructive and ruinous but it cannot kill you.
This shadow cannot strip the very essence of your life.
Why? You may ask yourself.
Because we are humans, we are ever-changing.
What do we do when we are faced with a difficult situation?
Do we crawl into our beds and morn as the hours go by?
Is it that we become enraged with ourselves and break out of pure fear?
No, it is not of those.
We stand up at the face of defeat and we fight with all of our strength,
Giving up is not an option and should never be an option.
Because when you give up that means that you never reached your true potential,
Everything that you could have become suddenly stopped because you chose to quit.
Don’t quit, keep on fighting, and conquer your fears.
When you conquer your fears that means they can no longer control you.
