Divergence
There I stood, the demons head upon me now
As black as night they fly down and fill the sky, no light to be seen
Us warriors stand our land as darkness engulfs the sky
In our coat of mail we stand strong holding the fortress we know as home
We hold it dear and near and don’t let go till only one stands tall
The last will stay unwavering as heaven and hell collapse upon us
The two worlds combine for only a second creating a moment of chaos
They diverge a path of their own now, heaven above and hell below
Peace is back and we stand still
Many lay dormant on the ground, but the one still standing is a sign that man will prosper
And in times of anguish we turn to him and thank him for saving us
