Mid Night
The tree sits
The night stands,
The tree’s branches are
As thin as rubber bands.
The wind whistles
The wolves howl
I heard my dog barking,
Then a sharp growl.
The night is pitch black,
The moon is yellow
I saw my friend watching midnight comedy
“Me and my Fellow.”
The thunder starts pounding,
The lightning starts striking
I saw my friend, late night biking.
I then fall asleep
And wake to the sound of sheep.
I smelled dad making bacon
I went down stairs and he said
We are going on vacation.
