We Are the Quiet Ones

We sit in class and keep to ourselves
Thoughts pass through our minds, deep thoughts
Things that others can not sense in our own little worlds
We are the quiet ones
People push us out of our comfort zone
some make us uncomfortable, a select few become a part of our tight knit friend circles
we are the quiet ones
Writing is our time to shine
We write out our true words and feelings
The pen as our mouths and the paper as the air
We are the quiet ones
