See Me
How do you see me?
All the views differ,
They can never agree.
I can’t say that I blame them,
Because you see,
Human perception is flawed,
And is never free.
Never free from the lies and deception.
Never free from those who believe them.
Never free from twisted tales known as gossip.
Never free from the common enemy.
Anger with its ally fear.
Together, anger and fear work to manipulate.
Manipulate the minds of the weak,
The desperate,
The lonely.
Those who fall victim to the conniving duo
Are the reason that you may never truly know.
Never know the real me.
The me I try to be.
