Where I'm From Poem
I am from Citrus Peels
from Lauquen Artes and MAC.
I am from the forestry and dark loud streets
of Golden Leaf Blvd.
It felt enchanted
I am from the White Lotus
the Annual Delphinium
bright green and finely dissected
I'm from the nightly prayer
humorous and playful posture towards life
From Anniston, Amber, and Axyl.
I'm from the world seekers,
and go-getters.
From sharing is caring and,
eat your vegetables.
I'm from "Always trust god he has a plan for you"
and prayer is the most important conversation.
I'm from Lexington
Cinammon rolls and strong coffee
From the mouse my sister lost in the sofa
to the eyes kept open to see.
I am from life is short so live like
there's no tomorrow.

My language arts teacher Troy Isham inspired me to write . I haven't really wrote poems before but he he encouraged me to write and everyone else in class . Writing helps you become a better person and explain your feelings and thoughts through writing. I hope people take the feeling and vibe of this poem . We all come from someplace different and its important that we realize we're all unique in a way .
