I Imagined
I imagined a rock next to my bed,
Out on the bank of the road.
A fountain of wonder
Beyond my window of inspiration.
The window of opportunity
Has an image too far to get.
Before I can get over the rock,
The fountain shines near the peak of its perfection.
Windows are common for sight beyond sight
Fountain beyond fountain
But not rock beyond rock.
The image of my bed next to the fountain of classification.
Bright light peeking through the window
The rock stumbles and the bank widens
The sight is so bright
A fountain shows fragmentation
I get up to look at the window
I see people tripping over rocks
They fall over darkness
Widening, passing, and crouching by
I imagined it all,
In a dream.
The fountain of inspiration
Perfection, classification, and fragmentation
Look so wonderful in the sunlight.
