Those Kind of Eyes
You have those kind of eyes that could stop a million thoughts racing,
Fix any little piece of the empty insides that are broken,
The kind of eyes that are crashing waves of the ocean,
Swallowing me up.
I used to wonder what those eyes see when you look at me,
Knowing those eyes have cried tears,
Smoldered with anger, held fears,
When you look at me do you forget how to breathe?
Those eyes hold oceans of stormy blue,
Churning waves of emerald hue,
Eyes that shine as the moon shines too,
I’m captivated by you.
You have those kind of eyes that enrapture,
It’s me you've captured,
Take me away when I no longer wish to stay,
You have those kind of eyes.
