Autumn

The world is painted red
When Autumn sets in
And the world gets colder
But life gets warmer.
And the trees lose their leaves
But the ground gains color
And the children down the street
Are laughing and playing
Crunching leaves beneath their feet.
When the world turns red
Life is set in motion
As the air grows crisper
And the world grows a bit older.
And love becomes more vibrant
As the families share stories and hot chocolate
And couples share secrets and kisses
And they paint the world red with their love
And the world is glowing when everything is red.
