I am a Musician,

     The Musician.
     I am the sounds you listen to,
     And the songs you sing.
     I play what you want in the light,
     And what I want in the dark.
     Note by note, I play for you
     And only you.

     I am Invisible,
     Like sound.
     You know my stories
     Better than my face.
     My sound is more desirable
     Than my opinions.
     To you
     And only you.

     I am a Performer.
     My love of the stage
     Is only matched
     By my love for music
     That brought me on the stage.
     Now that I am here,
     I don’t want to leave.
     I want to perform.
     For you
     And only you.

     I am The Musician.
     Unnoticed,
     Unappreciated,
     Unhappy,
     But heard.
     I learn for you.
     I practice for you.
     I perform for you.

     But you do not see.
