The Eye of th Storm
World fades to nothingness
Black clouds my vision
Midnight settles in, but no stars shine
My body feels weak and heavy
Like a weight set upon my chest
“CRACK!” Limbs fall numb
Spice fills the air
Fear and uncertainty
Warmth settles in my bones; it’s death's call
Wrapping around me, taunting
Demons dance devilishly in the dark
Sirens call.
The silence becomes deafening
Screams unheard
Skin screams out as black consumes all
Soot coats my tongue
Ash fills my eyes
Nothing is safe
I lay back and accept
I am a shell, a programmed robot
Empty and unable to feel
A storm brews on the horizon
The white plush clouds cry out as black overwhelms
Wicked winds whip against my face
I dive into the eye of the storm
Black.

Well, I really enjoy writing darker literature since I can be as descritive as I want.
