known for being genuine
known for being loving
something out of character
evolved into "nothing"
that's what you say
but i know it means something
something to you if not to me
something of which you will "never be free"
i know you
you're kind and not what they say
you've grown in ways words cannot convey
i know you!

fully, and fondly
take a step back
