Confetti
The day came
Beautiful words were spoken
To myself, alone.
Of a room full of people
dozed off but me
Expecting what would happen when the sun shines.
Wishes were scattered
Despite the actual meaning
Ignoring but I still care.
The night came normally
I was expecting confetti
but my room was left untouched.
Just me and the notes
That has been accompanying me
since minute one.
The last moment ended
Still, I was waiting for confetti.
