Going into the Garden of the Gods visitor center
When I opened the door to the balcony
Everything became still
Everything was silent

Eye's became fixed on the objects called rocks
These rock were not just any old rocks
They were humongous
In every shape and size
Different formations

Weathered throughout thousands and thousands of years
They became amazing pieces of nature's art
One of the formations was called the “kissing camels”
It is truly breathtaking to know how many years it took to form this work of art

For years to come I will always remember
I will never forget going onto that balcony
And being amazed, astonished, and blown away

To know that God made these beautiful creations
