I hurt

I hurt where it counts
I hurt where I live
I hurt in a house, not a home
I hurt where they talk
and they talk everywhere
I hurt where they roam
and they roam everywhere
I hurt so much
Physical pain does not compare to this
Emotional pain is like a bruise
it is soft, until touched
then it's like a cut, sore and vulnerable
I am hurt
I am hurt where it counts
