Fairytale cliche
As children we all hear fairy tales
Girl gets the guy, children find their parents, good beats evil
Why can't we all have a fairytale ending?
One where all the cliche endings and hard times happen but
Everything turns out ok
We grow up thinking our prince will be out there
You can sing all the time and magically people know the songs also
Trolls live under bridges, and if you wear glass slippers, you can find your prince
We want the ending with the magical kiss
The dream wedding, amazing dress and decorations
We want someone who will tell us they love us after knowing them for a week
A magic occurrence and fun animal friends
We want someone to look at us like we are the only people in the world
A moment where your breath catches when you see someone across the room
Why can't we all have princes? Where is prince charming to whisk us off our feet?
Where are the magical animals who give advice
I want a happily ever after where after the end, everything is perfect
No one knows what happens after the end but it must be good
Fairytales are what we aim for, the magical life we want
Happy endings in the movies lead to our want for a happily ever after
