My Love of Sports

Oh, make me jump, rather than give up sports completely,
Out of an airplane without a parachute.
Make me climb an active volcano
Or eat bland oatmeal and rice for every meal.
Force me to wear a dress with heels every single day.
Never let me speak my mind
Or travel when the opportunity arises.
Make me only play the dreaded sport of volleyball;
Take away all of my sunglasses.
Let me be mauled by a tiger
Or trampled by a herd of elephants.
Oh, how I would rather be in all these situations
Than to give up sports completely.
