I felt a tickle in my stomach when her gaze fell upon mine.
She had the most mesmerizing eyes,
Composed with the perfect shades of blue and green.
Her skin, ever so slightly tanned,
As if she has been kissed by the sun.
The way her hair slightly fell onto her eye brow,
Glistening from the sunlight rays.
Goosebumps rose from my skin as we grazed passed each other,
Both looking back…
Chills shot up my spine, and at that moment,
I knew our love was eternal…

It was the following Wednesday I saw her

“Hello” I softly peeped.

She scanned me,
“What do you want? I don’t associate with people as unfortunate as you!”
She exclaimed with a disgusted facial expression.
I said nothing…
My heart sank to my stomach like a sinking ship in the ocean.

Everything fell silent…
Darkness filled my mind like gray clouds
Hovering over the sunlight I once saw.
Those eyes I once got lost again,
Now leave me with a significant stinging sensation in my heart.
I slowly dropped my head and stared at my clothes:
Fairly new black and white Converse, baggy skinny jeans, and a holey band T-Shirt.
My eyes slammed shut as a million tears raced down my cheeks.
I guess I’ll never be good enough…
