Fireworks
  Someone once told me
That if I were to burn that
  I should burn brightly
For all to come and see.
They told me that if I were to
  Burn
That I should burn for miles to come so everybody
  Could see
  The blazing light
  And gaze in wondrous delight.
Someone once taught me how to survive.
They said to me, “fire is the most important thing.
It gives you light in the dark.”
  And now, I’m burning bright
  I’m burning right,
And what they didn’t tell me was
How hard it would be to burn,
How much it would hurt to burn.
  But now I’m standing here,
  And I’m burning everywhere
For all to come and see
  Me burning free.
