We were
We were etched in supernovas
And written in all of the stars;
Our love was beyond celestial,
Bigger than the Jupiter,
Mightier than most.
We were the dark matter
And the brightness of the galaxies;
We were the rings of Saturn
Never to be torn apart
In the planet of frozen seas.
We were the start of earth's creation,
And the wavelength of outer space;
We were the light of all quasars,
And gravity,
That held everything in place.
But we are now the make of black holes
And this is the dark side of the moon,
Our love was once beyond celestial,
Out of this world,
Never to be torn apart
But I guess you have a darker side too.
