Ode to Our Outlets
Three-holed circles
sitting on the walls
constantly being used
But never being thanked.
Without out you thing would die
No more battery life
No more charging
You power the world
quite literally- not figuratively
You light up the lamps
And charge the cords
You provide a place for the
Three pronged
Or
Two pronged.
You send expulses and take impulses
You send a current,
one more powerful than even the Humboldt.
we call You an outlet
Or a socket
Or in the simplest terms,
A plug
Simplistic yet fantastic.
