Shriveled flesh
lacks visible joints.
A colossal human entity:
nameless, soulless, dead corpse
with no chance of becoming a skeleton.
Drawn out salmon tinted brains
through inflexible palpy nostrils.
Evacuated lumpish raunchy substances.
Cold perished intestines, bloodless and expired.
The purification process nearing completion,
Sanitize and sterilize, from unwanted creatures.
From red velvet palm wine, to spices and herbs galore.
Back and forth, sewing the mangled flesh together.
Covering the carcass within natron, seventy days awaits,
Deodorize, whip down and cleanse the newly formed stiff.
Elements soaked for weeks in resin and magical amulets,
neatly arranged the lifeless, motionless tangled hair.
Painting one's face as if it was as fragile as a Monet.
Wrapping the hollow body in beige linen bandages,
Symbolizing, power, protection and rebirth
with no chance of becoming a skeleton.
Nameless, soulless, dead corpse
a colossal human entity:
lacks visible joints.
Shriveled flesh.
