Sidewalks are red
Not brown, nor tan
But red
Innocent African American's gunned down for buying Arizona and candy
Or selling cigarettes on the street
No, these sidewalks are red
We fear the police
When they are supposed to protect
No, these sidewalks are red
Walking down the street
Or driving while black
No, these sidewalks are red
