Never judge a book by its cover,
Unless that book was Carter.
It made life a lot harder,
Especially for someone who just wanted people to think he was smarter.
Never answered questions in class
Because most kids wondered how I managed to pass.
I went along to bypass
The possibility that they would harass.
Then one day I made a change.
I wanted to stand out.
And I did.
