One of a Kind, You and I
I see you,
For who you really are.
Not a god,
Or a man for that matter.
Only a scared boy.
Who only yearns for his own touch.
A mirror, sadly, is your only friend
A reflection, yearning only you
Blocked by a thin barrier
I see you,
Alone, admiring yourself.
So narcissistic, you look past even me.
You’re not like them.
You see me everyday
Yet my presence isn't enough.
Neither is theirs, but you seem happy with me
I actually see you,
As long as you come back, I’ll be fine.
You’re one of a kind.
You and I.
I’m you and you are me.
