I'll Live to Live
A tear rolled down my cheek
I sat in a perfect world, a place of Eden
While others around me were suffering
The insane would say I was genius
The poor would say I was rich
But still my stomach ached inside
For I was not satisfied.
What was it that I wanted?
Only the wind would know.
But still I sat and waited,
For my life to begin.
I studied hard and I followed the rules
I smiled wide and laughed and laughed
Yet something was missing-
Something deep within my soul.
Now never mind I’m just being silly,
Just remember: life’s a little hilly.
I’m not sad, but there’s something missing,
Maybe it’s something worth dismissing.
I’m not sad, yes I’m okay,
I’ll live to live another day.
