Let it burn…

Nature’s smell, gentle seas, happy Poseidon.
Let it burn…

Men say goodbye as wives cry, off to war they sail,
as embers ignite, the inferno emerges into this world.
Let it burn…

Forces meet, captains shout, men run,
And scramble to fire the iron giants. The battle begins.
“Watch the fire, watch it grow!”
Let it burn…

Boom! Clash! Slash! As cannon balls rip through ship's hull,
they pled to the mighty gods
and help they must: forge his weapon and strike down your foe.
“Relinquish the inferno onto your foes!”
Let it burn…

The boats sink, the boats burn, the boats fight.
The tides of war shift,
as the inferno spreads, so does death himself.
Let it burn…

Everything on fire, everything burning, everything dying.
Waters ablaze, this is the end.
Let it burn...

Everything engulfed by scorching heat as hot as the sun
Let it burn…

Let it burn...

Let…
It…
Burn...

The repetition in your poem gives such an engaging rhythm. It's really cool how you set up a peaceful scene in the beginning with "gentle seas,/happy Poseidon." The contrast between peace and war/water and fire is so powerful.
