You helped him through tough times-
time and time again without thought.
You helped him see; he was blind.
He raged on furiously; he never quit; he fought.
You showed him about love, sadness, and joy-
Through your words he experienced such.
He used to be a scared, alone boy -
Through your melodies he felt much -
something in his heart, touched.
Alas, you flew, soared for the sky
the boy was broken
that a gorgeous star roamed the sky.
