Burning
If I’m fire, I wish I could say that he’s ice,
that he cools down even the most scorching parts of me.
But the truth is,
if I’m fire, then he’s just the oxygen that fuels me.
And if I’m a fire I wish I could at least say that I’m a tame one,
But honestly?
I’m terrified that I’m a wildfire that will spread to anywhere and everywhere,
and that they’re just the grass that will be burned beneath me.
