A flood of cash is flowing down on the streets.
Its nice to be rich, but money's all people see.
Some people around kill for that green.
They grind all day in the ghetto just to be seen.
They pray someone might notice them and get them out clean.
But others chose the thug life and take what they see.
Robbing liquor stores and selling their weed just cuz they please.
They might shoot you for a dollar cause all they want is that green.
Yet the rich ain't no better.
They spend all their money with debit or credit.
Buy thousand dollar shoes without even a thought.
Then they throw them out the next day because they were to soft.
One might say that's a waste, but I say say it's a disgrace.
If we spent that on the starving, life might be ok.
But some people go gambling just to get a taste of what more money feels like but it all goes to waste.
The casinos get rich on people who want the green.
They go in expecting to get rich but come out wiped clean.
Money, it's driving this world insane.
Spend wisely and give some away.
The world can be a much happier place this way.
