Summer's Here
I look at the clock -- Hands moving like a snail across the wooden forest.
Every second it ticks; I keep getting more excited and cheerful.
I look at the clock -- 30 minutes left until hope.
All the students becoming energized.
The teacher is talking. I think about the hot summer days.
I look at the clock -- 10 minutes left until freedom.
Freedom, it's bittersweet when you think you're almost out.
Summer, hope to see you soon.
I look at the clock -- 5 minutes left until summer.
We are jumping for joy, we are almost out.
The principal gave his last announcements for the year.
We rose like birds starting ready to fly.
The clocks counting down.
For every second it counts is like memories of the year.
I look at the clock -- 1 minute until I am out of this place.
I count down the seconds until the bell rings,
I run out celebrating like it's New Year's Eve.
