Traffic
Beep, beep, beep, beep.
Ugh, That sound that wakes you up day after day.
Spring, summer, fall, and winter.
You can never get away from it,
It’s like a mosquito bite, you scratch and scratch.
But, it never goes away.
6 a.m. Wake up. Come on.
The birds have come out,
they’re chirping as loud as possible, annoying.
Looking at the bright blue sky, that looks so happy.
You want to hate it, but you know you can’t.
There’s cars rushing down the street,
they have to get to work. STOP.
The traffic is overwhelming, uncontrollable,
It’s not calm anymore, and 7 o’clock is approaching.
Every car going past each other,
like a little kid running after their sibling in a fight.
Everyone in a rush, because no one is prepared.
For the day ahead of them.
6 a.m. is horrible.
It is fast, fulfilled, and unimaginable.
There is no other time like this,
and you can never escape it.
