This is the resurrection of real.

Displaying my thoughts
so you know how I feel.

I never conceal or hide
my true intentions inside.
Just doing me, trying to feel alive.

A curly headed kid workin’ a 3 to 9,
tryin’ to make a dime to
take care of granny and mom.

Bills weighing on my mind.

Financial problems at 18,
so I’m stressed like I’m 29.

I’m a young man in his prime.

I use the craft of rhymes
to write between the lines.

But even with illustrations,
you could never picture my mind.
